Nadda further emphasized that Prime Minister Modi was ready for all discussions and that the government was not avoiding any debates. He accused the opposition of disrupting the House and preventing its functioning.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman joined the debate, bringing up past incidents to counter Kharge's remarks. She highlighted instances of violence and inaction under Congress rule, questioning the opposition's accusations.
And this is the part most people miss... Kharge also raised concerns about the alleged humiliation of former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi by BJP lawmakers. He condemned the use of abusive language towards these iconic figures.
The parliamentary logjam has persisted since Monday, with repeated disruptions and an intensification of the stalemate earlier this week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had to cancel his speech in the Lower House due to the uproar and protests.
